Selena Gomez

Selena Marie Gomez (/s@'li:n@ "goUmez"/s@'LEE-n@; born July 22, 1992) is an American actress, performer and producer. Gomez's acting career started on the popular children's television series Barney & Friends (1902-2004). She gained fame as Alex Russo, a teenage character on the Disney Channel television show Wizards of Waverly Place (2007-12). Gomez was also a part of the television series Another Cinderella Story (2008) and Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie 2009, Ramona and Beezus (2010) and Spring Breakers 2012, Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016). In 2019, she will be seen in The Dead Don't Die (2018). Gomez was also the voice of Mavis in Hotel Transylvania's movie franchise from 2012 until 2022. Gomez was the executive producer of the Netflix television series 13 Reasons Why (2017-2020) and Living Undocumented (2019) through her production company, July Moon Productions. Gomez also executive produces and appears in the HBO Max cooking series Selena + chef (2020-2022) as well as the Hulu comedy show Only Murders in the Building (21-21). The latter earned Gomez not only praise from critics but also nominations for an Golden Globe Award, and as producer in the series, the Primetime Emmy Award . The album debuted at the top spot in the US and was later certified platinum. Three top ten US tracks were made out of Revival: "Good for You" and the "Same Old Love" single and "Hands to Myself". Rare (2020) the album that was her third studio album was her third straight number one in the US. Its lead single, "Lose You To Love Me" was her first top-ten single across both the US and Canada. Revelacion is her EP in Spanish came out in 2021. She received a nomination for the Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album. She has won numerous accolades like the 2017 Billboard Woman of the year award. She also broke fifteen Guinness World Records. Time magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2020. Her following is huge on social media platforms and is the most followed musician and actress on Instagram. Gomez has launched fragrance, cosmetics, and handbag lines. At the age of 17, she has been an UNICEF ambassador, and also worked on behalf of a variety of charities.
