Ana Maria Polo personal life

Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez was born in Havana, Cuba. Her family moved to Miami at two years old. Ana Polo Gonzalez was raised in Havana Cuba and moved with her family to Miami at the age of two. In Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo is host of renowned Telemundo program "Caso Cerrado" which was the first Spanish programming to be nominated for an Daytime Entertainment Emmy(r) Award. It was also was ranked in 2015 as the number one Spanish-language program in the 4pm hour across all key demos. Polo was born in Havana in 1959. When she graduated from Florida International University's political science program, she relocated to Havana where she stayed for twenty years. After that, she received the PhD in Law at the University of Miami, and worked for 20 years in Miami. After obtaining her PhD at the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for more than 20 years. Polo was the first to make an appearance on television in 2001, as part of Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. Her expertise in law was also utilized for other court-related programs. Literature: Accolades and Literary Works In the year 1958, she released her book Los Hijos Muertos. It was awarded the Critic's Award for Literature, as well as the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute moved to the United States from Spain in 1960. Polo who is diagnosed with breast cancer and cancer survivor, speaks often about the cause she is fighting. She's been an avid advocate for LGBT rights throughout the course of her life. She earned her degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 1987. She is a member of the Florida Bar.
