Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter and musician. He was a member of One Direction. Harry Styles was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1 1994. He's the child of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School where he created his own band, composed of 3 schoolmates, which was named White Eskimo. They participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their impressive performances they were winners. Although he has always been interested in the arts, he hoping to be an attorney or an physiotherapist. For a while he worked as a part-time baker in his city and hoped to assist financially at home. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition during which he performed the Stevie Wonder's hit song Is not She Lovely. This is why his band split. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they'd be forming the group One Direction after the X The X. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. The group played songs, such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group became one of the candidates for the prize. However, they came in third, just behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles' group didn't place, but Cowell still paid two million dollars for One Direction for them to agree to a contract with Syco.
